Yet, their stories and resilience deserve equal attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In recent years, we\u2019ve seen the rise of small-town Pride celebrations \u2014 from single-flag displays to full parades. These events often require immense courage from organizers and attendees, many of whom may be publicly coming out for the first time. The risk of backlash is real, but so is the power of visibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Small-town Pride events remind us that LGBTQ+ people exist and thrive everywhere. They challenge the notion that queerness is limited to cosmopolitan lifestyles. These celebrations may not have floats or celebrities, but they often carry more emotional weight and community impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This Pride Month, let\u2019s extend our support beyond the big cities.
